The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State has ordered an investigation into the shooting during a festival at Isheri village which killed at least person and wounding five others.
A document from the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun Command suggests four soldiers from Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos left their beat and moved to the border town of Isheri olofin, where they had a disagreement with some young people.
TVC News gathered that the unidentified soldiers unleashed terror on villagers in Isheri, Ogun state killing at least person and wounding five others.
The soldiers had reportedly escorted one Tiri, whom TVC News gathered is the son of the owner of Kara Market to the event.
The team arrived at about 7:30 in the evening, and were pushing other guests to make way for their principal and that didn’t go down well with the community. But the army claims the community called for help because there was a cult clash.
