Three policemen have been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stealing two AK 47 rifles worth one point seven million naira belonging to the Police Force.
The policemen, Uzor Emmanuel, Akharamen Michael and Jimoh Halilu have been dismissed after facing orderly room trial.
They were attached to “Operation Wabaizigan”

It was gathered that the two fully-loaded AK-47 rifles assigned to Micheal and Jimoh were allegedly stolen from Uzor at a Guest House in Benin City on the 17th of July.
The policemen were arraigned on three count charges of conspiracy and stealing.
