The Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu, has met with with governors of the north west in Katsina state in order to review the security situation in the zone.
The meeting is first of its kind by the police authorities in the zone in an attempt to consolidate on successes being recorded.
It is a well attended event with governors in attendance being those of Katsina kaduna, Kano, zamfara, sokoto and kebbi states
The only governor in the region not in attendance is that of Jigawa state.
