The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has summoned an Emergency Security meeting at Government House this morning.
The meeting is to reappraise the extensive security template of the state given the robbery operation which took place at the Lafia- Akwanga highway on Tuesday.
In statement signed by the Director General, Strategic Communications of the state, Yakubu Lamai, the governor urged residents of the state to go about their normal lives without fear as government is on top of the situation.

Recall that suspected armed robbers had on Tuesday attacked the convoy of the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Emmanuel Akabe, killing three police officers, a driver and a civilian.
