Former Imo Governor, and Senator representing Imo West, Rochas Okorocha has accused the All Progressives Congress of treating him badly.
Okorocha, whose election was upheld on Monday, expressed sadness that the party he helped nurture in the south east would pay him back by suspending him from the party.
He challenged the current administration in the state to investigate him, saying no government in the state could match his record of achievements .
Correspondent Habidah Lawal reports that shortly after leaving office, there have been allegations of misappropriation of funds levelled against Rochas Okorocha leading to him currently being investigated by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission.
There are also allegations of maladministration levelled against him by Governor Emeka Ihedioha, But Okorocha believed he has done nothing to warrant such treatment.
He admits that at present, the anti -graft agency is investigating three of his organizations, including Eastern Palm University and Rochas Foundation
Schools, but insists the Imo state governor is only chasing shadows.
But despite the ill treatment he claims has been meted out to him, Okorocha insists he still remains a member of the APC. He expresses misgivings that the party may go into extinction when President Muhammadu Buhari exits.
The Senator is hoping that Nigerians would judge their leaders on the basis of what they had done as a government before they could decide what to do in 2023.
