The South African High Commission in Abuja and the consulate in Lagos has reopened few days they were shut following fear of reprisal xenophobic attacks.
This was confirmed in a telephone conversation with our correspondent, Moyo Thomas in Abuja.
The High Commissioner said the offices were reopened following assurances from the Nigerian government of protection. Also because the tension in the country has lessened.
