Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has been named in The Sun Football all-time African best XI.
Enyeama is Nigeria’s most successful goalkeeper after playing in five Nations Cup tournaments – in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2013 – and was part of the Nigerian squads at the 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments.
The 36-year-old former Nigeria captain, who played 101 times for the Eagles, winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, was named alongside Rigobert Song, Lucas Radebe and Samuel Kuffour.
Other players who made the list include four-time Africa Footballer of the Year and Samuel Eto’o, five-time Africa Footballer of the year Yaya Toure.
The list also has George Weah, the 1995 World Footballer of The Year, Ghanaian Michael Essien, Ivoirian legend Didier Drogba and Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
