The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress is currently meeting with the two Ministers of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and Festus Keyamo in Abuja.
Top on issues that will be discussed is the breakdown in talks between the negotiating council and government.
Labour Representatives at the last meeting had said the meeting was deadlocked and accused government of nursing what it called a hidden agenda
Labour Minister, Chris Ngige, some days ago confirmed that government has started paying the new minimum wage of N30,000 to public service employees from last month.

The bone of contention between labour and government is the relativity and consequential adjustment of salaries of government workers from level 7 to 17.
