The Northern governors have adopted a National Livestock Transformation Plan that will address the frequent clashes between farmers and herders, as well as boost food production in the country.
The communique was read on Thursday at the end of a closed door meeting at the Kaduna house.
The meeting which focused on Livestock management in the region and by extension the country among others are issues, was chaired by the forum’s chairman, and Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong
Chairman of the Forum and Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong, said the resolution will help have a common front on the issue.
