As the war against insurgency rages on, the Air Task Force has destroyed an ammunition-laden gun truck and demobilised another one belonging to the Islamic State West Africa Province.
The counter insurgency operation code named LAFIYA DOLE carried out the strikes at Garunda in the Northern part of Borno State.
The Air Force said its Alpha Jet aircraft attacked the two gun trucks as they attempted to evade detection by driving into foliage.

The occupants of the trucks were killed in the process.
