A non governmental organisation has distributed more than 2000 exercise books to primary schools in Lagos.
Founder of the organisation Fatima-Bintu Tinubu says the effort is to help indigent students whose parents could barely afford school materials.
Fatimah Tinubu described the move as a way of complementing the Lagos state governments effort to encourage indigent students to go to school.
The NGO was commended for the move and others were charged to emulate such kindness.

The group also commended the state government for allowing the partnership, they vow to always play important role in developing education in the state.
