The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned a former Director of legal services, Grace Taiga over the failed Process and Industrial Development Limited contract.
She was arraigned on an 8-count-charge which she has pleaded not guilty to.
Ms Taiga will be remanded in Suleja prisons until next Wednesday when the case will be reopened.
Her arraignment is a signal that the federal government is following up on its pledge to clampdown on all those involved in the P and ID scandal.
On Thursday the EFCC arraigned a commercial director of P&ID incorporated in British Virgin Islands Muhammad Kuchezi, and its representative in Nigeria, Adamu Usman.
They were found guilty of an eleven count charge against them.
The federal high court in Abuja subsequently ordered the closure of business and forfeiture of assets of P and ID to the Federal government.
