President Muhammadu Buhari is in New York, United States to take part in the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly.
His participation at the gathering of world leaders is significant as it coincides with Nigeria’s Presidency of the assembly.
Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, was unanimously elected as the President of UNGA 74 in June .
More than ninety heads of state are expected in New York for the assembly which would feature a Climate Action summit on Monday, and the general debate, which kicks off Tuesday.
