South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa has called for calm and condemned the destruction of foreigner’s interests by his citizens.
President Ramaphosa said the action is a violation of the values and principles that define the democracy of his country.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that he is sending a special envoy to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa.
President Buhari is seeking an end to attacks on Nigerian citizens and property in the Rainbow nation.

The Special Envoy is expected to arrive in Pretoria on or before Thursday.
