The meeting between the federal government and labour over the implementation of the new minimum wage has again ended in a deadlock.
This is because both parties ended the meeting without a concrete agreement.
TVC News learnt that the government decided to step up from 9.5 per cent to 11 per cent for grade levels seven to 14 and 6.5 percent from 5.5 percent for levels 15 to 17.
The Chairman of the labour team, Simon Anchaver accused the government team of foot dragging and warned it could be an invitation for industrial action.
President Buhari had in April 2019 signed the thirty thousand naira national minimum wage into law but implementation has been stalled by these differences.
