As climate change protests continue across the globe, several persons have been arrested following the protests.
Thirty people were charged with committing offences in Sydney, while fifty people were also detained in Amsterdam for erecting a tent on a main road.
Despite the arrests, activists are not backing down as 1,000 activists backed by the yellow-vest anti-government movement have reportedly occupied a shopping centre in Paris.
Australia’s government has been criticised for its lack of action in tackling climate change but it insists that it is doing its part to reduce global carbon emissions.
Protests by climate change activists are expected in about 60 cities over the next two weeks.
