The Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, has apologised to members of the House Committee on Finance for errors in the 2020 budget proposal of his office.
He rendered the apology at a budget defence session.
National Assembly Correspondent, Joke Adisa, reports that Mr Idris led a delegation of senior managers in his office to the legislators. The Accountant General scored the approved 649.88 million naira 2019 budget at about fifty per cent.
