The Lagos state House of Assembly has issued fresh summons on former governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to appear before it by one pm on Wednesday.
This will be to inform the committee of the house of all he knows about some financial transactions during his tenure between the 29th of May, 2015 and the 29th of May, this year.
In the invitation published in some newspapers, the lawmakers reminded Mr Ambode of the importance of appearing before the committee to shed light on five alleged infractions raised by the assembly.
The notice urges the former governor to provide the committee with documents to justify that the transactions did not violate constitutional provisions.
The former governor had shunned an earlier summons by the Assembly on the 15th of October.
