Two hundred and ten nominees will battle in 26 different categories at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA 2019.
Organisers are also celebrating fifteen years since award ceremony began in Lagos.

The Nigeria film industry, known as Nollywood, has grown in leaps and bounds with an impact that continues to resonate around the African continent and the world.
AMAA has been instrumental in helping set standards for the film industry in Nigeria and Africa.
Themed ‘Destination Lagos’, the award has received more nominations more than eight times the number of award categories.
The AMAA 2019 will see a convergence of film makers from all over Africa who will compare notes set new target for mutual progress.
This year’s award is set to hold in Lagos, Nigeria.
