At least 65 people were killed and more than 40 injured after a fire engulfed a train travelling through central Pakistan
The fire reportedly occurred when passengers used a portable gas-powered stove to prepare for breakfast.
Officials revealed that the accident took place south of the city of Multan this morning and completely destroyed at least three coaches.
The injured have been taken to the hospital, but lack of a burn unit in hospitals nearby, this means the victims would have to be flown by helicopter to Multan.
The train was carrying passengers from the southern city of Karachi and the affected coaches were “overcrowded.
