The Consumer Price Index, which measures inflation increases by 11.24 percent in September, this is 0.22 percent higher than the 11.02% rate recorded in August.
On month-on-month basis, the Headline index increased by 1.04 percent in September 2019, this is 0.05 percent rate higher than the rate recorded in August 2019.
Food sub-index rose year on year from 13.17% in August to 13.51% in September.

Urban index now stands at 11.78% from the 11.48% recorded in August. Rural index on the otherhand, hits 10.77% from 10.61% in August.
