The Coordinator, NEMA Lagos Territorial Office, Alhaji Idris Abubakar Muhammed has received 161 stranded Nigerian returnees on behalf of Federal Government at the Cargo Wing of MMIA on Tuesday along with the other national agencies and Edo State Task Force against Human Trafficking officials.
The Al Buraq Air with registration number MVTUZ289/01.5A-DMG from Misrata City, a 200 kilometers distance from the Tripoli, Libya arrived Nigeria at about 5:35 a.m.
At end of profiling of the Returnees, which included men, women, children and infants, there 48 females and 93 male adults. Those with medical issues were immediately evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.
