The federal executive council has approved the construction of an indoor shooting range for aviation security.
Council also approved the setting up of more than three hundred buoys on Nigeria’s inland water and the construction of two oil and gas parks in the Delta area.
One week after president Buhari presented a budget of 10.33 trillion to a joint session of the national assembly.
This week, memos from ministries of Aviation, Petroleum and Transport got council’s approval.
But before council deliberations began, the commander in chief of the armed forces launched the Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem and Appeal Fund with N10 million.
He said the government will continue to provide necessary logistical support to ensure the Armed Forces operate with the best modern warfare equipment and ultimately protect the sovereignty and integrity of the country against external attacks.
