The eleven people rescued from a centre in Zaria, where they had undergone torture for years, are receiving medical treatment.
The centre was uncovered in the ancient city, with the inmates chained; some for up to eight years.
Security operatives raided the place, known as “Malam Aliyu Mai Adakan Salatul Fatih” and were told about another centre, whose owners fled before they could get there.
The deputy governor of Kaduna State later visited the inmates.
This is coming less than one month after 147 tortured inmates were set free at a centre, and at least 300 others were uncovered in another raid on yet another centre, all in Kaduna State.
