The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Edgal Imohimi, has inaugurated Citizens’ Complaint Hot Centre, to help in ensuring prompt response from the Police and to boost partnership between the command and the People.
He also unveiled ten phone lines meant for the operation and ordered Policemen in the state to go and flush out criminals in the state.
TVC News correspondent reports that CP Imohimi during his first meeting with the area Commanders and the Divisional Police Officers in Ogun State, asked them to brace up and ensure effective policing in the state.
He noted that he has visited some Police stations in Abeokuta metropolis and observed that there is need for creation of more pin down points. He urged residents to continue to support Police with useful information and to report any officer found wanting to the State Command.
The Commissioner also unveiled ten dedicated lines meant for operation at the Citizens complaint hot centre. He noted that officers will be on duty
to attend to them in any language of their choice.
