Mikel Arteta has been confirmed Arsenal Manager on a three-and a-half-year deal .
He took over from Freddie Ljunberg who has been in charge on an interim basis .
The 37 year old Spaniard succeeded his Compatriot Unai Emery, who was sacked last month.
Interim boss Freddie Ljungberg will take charge of the team for the game against Everton on Saturday, with Arteta watching from the stands.
Arteta played for Arsenal between 2011 to 2016 after joining from Everton. He was the Club’s captain when they won the English FA Cup in 2013 and 2015.
