Osimhen was nominated for the African Youth Player of the Year award alongside fellow Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze and Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, Oshoala is in contention for the Women’s Player of the Year award alongside Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout and South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana.
