The senate has passed the 2020 Appropriation bill after the adoption of the reports submitted by the Committees on Appropriation of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
The senate however, raised the estimates by N260 billion to bring it to N10.59 trillion.
The budget report was considered at plenary today by the Committee of a Whole headed by the Chairman, Ahmad Lawan.
The National Assembly on Wednesday finalised arrangements for the passage of the 2020 budget with the submission of reports by the Committees on Appropriation of both chamber.
