The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission went to court on the grounds the two buildings were bought with the proceeds of ‘unlawful activity’.
The recent forfeiture comes days after the two-term governor of Kwara State accused the EFCC of plotting to secure a forfeit order on his home in Ilorin.
The court order would be published in national newspapers, and anybody interested in the properties would have to explain why they should not be forfeited to the Federal Government.
