Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has said he will continue to allow the people to choose their monarchs without political interference.
He disclosed this at the presentation of staff of office to the new Alaboto of Aboto in Ilaje local government area, Adeola Idiogbe.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in his speech at the event, said his government has not interfered with the selection process of traditional rulers for the people as his administration will continue to respect people’s choice.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Justice, the Governor urged the new Alaboto to ensure that peace reigns supreme in his domain.
Dignitaries present at the event expressed satisfaction with the choice of the kingmakers.
They urged him to use his wealth of experience to bring rapid development to Aboto.
