Nigeria’s inflation figures for the month of November hits 11.85%, marking a spike from the 11.61% recorded in October.
This is according according to just released figures from the National Bureau of Statistics.
On a month on month basis, inflation hits 1.02% from 1.07% recorded in October.
The highest rise in food inflation was recorded in Kwara, Sokoto, Bayelsa and Edo states, while Nasarawa, Ondo and Lagos recorded
the slowest rise in food inflation on a month on month basis.
The NBS report further shows Urban index rose 12.47% in November compared to the 12.20% recorded in October.
Urban Index rose 1.02% month on month in November from 1.15% in October.
Rural index rose 11.30% year or year in November from 11.07% in October While on a month on month basis rural index rose 0.98% from 0.99% recorded in October.
