The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has advised intending Christian pilgrims from the state to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and propagate the message of peace on their return from the holy land.
The governor gave the charge at the departure ceremony organized for the state’s contingent in Lafia, the state capital.
The pilgrimage is a yearly ritual embarked upon by adherents of different faiths to religious holy sites across the globe in search of absolution.
This period affords pilgrims the opportunity to visit symbolic sites mentioned in the holy books and table requests to God through prayers and
supplications.
