The Nasarawa state government has honoured the Group Head of Current and Public Affairs, TVC Communications, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju with an award for projecting the state in good light with the programme ‘Nasarawa Focus’.
The award was given to him at the first annual dinner night in Lafia, the state capital.
Veteran broadcaster Cyril Stober, who delivered the keynote address, urged journalists to cross check facts before going to bed.
The governor seized the opportunity to appeal to journalists to be balanced in their reportage and always seek clarification when in doubt.

The event was attended by top government functionaries, seasoned journalists and entertainers.
