The Nigerian Communications Commission is set to develop regulations that will allow telecom operators to lease spectrum to one another.
This was disclosed by the Vice Chairman NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta in Lagos.
Mister Danbatta said the regulations would tackle challenges associated with unavailable spectrum in the industry.
He adds that infrastructure sharing regulation is at the draft stage and will drive competition in the use of 5G in Internet of Things and smart cities.
