Ogun State Police Command, has arrested four suspected kidnappers over the abduction and killing of a 7-year old boy in Abeokuta, the state capital. The suspects also allegedly collected three hundred thousand Naira as ransom from the parents of the victim.
TVC News Kazeem Olowe reports that the Victim, Abdulmalik Musa was kidnapped on Wednesday the 11th December, 2019 at his parents resident in Sabo, Abeokuta.
The gang was said to have been led by his uncle, Faruq Seidu who contracted three others to assist him.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state described the act as man inhumanity to fellow man. One of the suspects confirmed the position of the Police but the uncle of the victim denies his involvement.
The Police Public Relations Officer however advised members of the public to be security conscious and promised that the Police will not allow
criminals to hibernate in the state.
