The Yobe state government is collaborating with Plan International Nigeria to provide social services to ten communities ravaged by Boko Haram insurgency
Yobe ranks second after Borno when considering states most affected the brutality meted out by boko haram fighters on communities in the Northeast.
Thousands were displaced, sources of livelihoods were cut off, leaving many with no option but to seek any means to survive.
A group of humanitarian actors converged on Yobe to find a possible way of ameliorating the sufferings of the victims of the insurgency.
The Yobe commissioner for health, who was at the event said the state Government is ever ready to partner all humanitarian actors that mean well for the state.
Ten communities in Yobe state will benefit from the social services that will be provided by Plan International Nigeria.
