Eleven people have been killed and twenty sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident in Kano State, northwest Nigeria.
The auto crash occurred at Gaya town in Gaya Local Government area of the state.
According to eye witnesses, the incident occurred at a diversion where vehicles head-on collision.
The witnesses said amongst the dead are two children, a female and eight males.

Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Kano, Kabiru Daura confirmed the incident but details according to him are sketchy.
