Forty five Cameroonians illegally conveying three vehicles into the country have been intercepted at a checkpoint in Serti, Gashaka local government area of Taraba State.
They were apprehended while on their way to an undisclosed location by a joint operation of the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Immigration
Service.
Parading the suspects in Jalingo, the Commanding officer 20 model battalion Serti, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullatif Raji said the suspects included three drivers, 42 male youths and a lady.
He explained that the suspects were been intercepted following information concerning their suspicious moves.
