The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has sworn in six lawmakers who recently won re-run elections in their federal constituencies.
Among them is the leader of the House, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, others include Munir danagundi and Aliyu Datti also from Kano state.
Also sworn in are Egbona Alex from Cross River, Mariam Odinaka from Imo and Jafau Auwwal from Bauchi.
Gbajabiamila inaugurated the members into the lower chamber of the National Assembly during plenary on Wednesday in Abuja.
On hand to witness the swearing in was the Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila and the Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje charged the newly sworn in members to be representatives of their constituents.
