A member representing Garki Bubara federal constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives, Adamu Fagen-Gawo, is dead.
The death of Adamu Fagen-Gawo in the early hours of Wednesday comes less than a month after another member, Ja’afaru Illiyasu, from Niger State, slumped and died.
The two term lawmaker was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress. He died in the United Arab Emirate, Dubai at the age of 65.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, House Committee on Airforce, Shehu Koko, has commiserated with the family of late lawmaker.
Mr Koko, who represents Koko-Besse/Maiyama federal constituency of Kebbi state, described the lawmaker as friendly and a man of peace.
The legislator also condoled with late Fagen-Gawo’s constituents and the entire people of Jigawa State as his remains will be buried according to Islamic rites in his home town.
Mr. Koko said the deceased left behind 10 children and two wives and prayed that God grant him eternal rest.
