The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Aliyu Yako, as the winner of Kiru/ Bebeji federal constituency rerun election in Kano state.
He defeated APC’s Abdulmumin Jibrin who is former chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation.
Abdulmumin Jibrin got 13,507 votes while Aliyu Yako garnered 48,601 voters.
