Nigeria is currently battling to curb the spread of Lassa fever which is ravaging some states in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed that at least 24 people have died of Lassa fever in the country since the beginning of the year.
In its latest situation report on the disease, the NCDC said 398 suspected cases were reported out of which 163 cases were confirmed while 235 cases were found to be negative.
Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, who was in Kano State to talk about issues concerning the recent outbreak of Lassa Fever in the state. He condoled with families of the deceased doctors and a pregnant woman in the state.
