Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Ogun State have intercepted a truck load of Premium Motor Spirit, concealed in sacks to deceive security agents.
The Commandant of the Corps in Ogun State, Hameed Abodunrin said the arrest was made at about 3.20 am at Cele Bus Stop, Alagbole, in Ifo Local Government Area.
He added that the 29 year-old suspect, Emmanuel Fregene was the driver of the truck with Lagos State number plate LSD – 04 XW and he was accosted by the Anti-Vandal unit of the NSCDC command.
He confirmed that the driver has confessed to the crime and has mentioned the name of the person that lured him into the illicit business.
