In a statement released today (Saturday), Army Operations Media Coordinator, Col. Aminu Iliyasu confirmed that the feat was carried out over the past few days.
One Monday one Mr Ibrahim was rescued by troops deployed in Dikwa area of the state while five others were released on Wednesday after soldiers destroyed the terrorists’ hideout at Zeledva Hills in Gwoza local government area.
On Thursday the troops recovered mutilated body parts of a neutralized Boko Haram criminal, AK 47 Rifles and 7.62mm NATO ammunition.
