The director General of LASEMA Femi Oke-Osanyintolu said the situation is under control. He also advised that markets should establish emergency units to forestall damages when such situations occur.
Residents in the area who have lost their houses to the inferno say, fire fighters came too late and when they eventually came, they did not have enough water to stem the spread of the fire.
