Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, and his deputy Edward Onoja, have taken the oath of office, signaling the beginning of their second term.
In his inaugural speech, Governor Bello promised to consolidate on gains recorded in education, health, infrastructure, security and human capital development.
There was an impressive array of government officials and senior members of the governing All Progressives Congress in Lokoja, the state capital, to witness the swearing-in ceremony.
President Buhari and his wife were also represented.
