The Nigerian Air Force says it has killed some key leaders of the Islamic State of West Africa Province at Jubillaram and Alinwa in the northern part of Borno.
Nigerian Air Force Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola in a statement on Saturday said the attack occurred as the ISWAP leaders assembled for meetings simultaneously in two locations.
The strikes were conducted by the Air Task Force, ATF of Operation Lafiya Dole, under the auspices of Operation Rattle Snake III.
Daramola further stated that the air force authorities will continue to sustain the offensive against the insurgents.
