The Nigeria ladies blew out fellow Africans Mozambique 85 to 51 points on Thursday evening to stand a bright chance of qualifying.
All 12 players on the roster scored at least two points with Promise Amukamara leading the team with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Evelyn Akhator picked 9 points and 7 rebounds, team captain Adaora Elonu scored 10 points and Ezinne Kalu added 11 points and 5 assists.
D’tigress next play Serbia on Saturday and they will be guaranteed a ticket to the Olympics if the United states defeat Mozambique same day.
