The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Senator Ignatius Datong Longjan is dead.
The Senator who once served as the Deputy Governor of Plateau state died in a Turkish hospital.
Although the cause of his death is still yet to be disclosed, some sources said it may be health related.
Media Aide to Senator Longjang, Wulime Goyit confirmed his death on Monday morning in Jos.

Senator Longjan was elected in 2019 to represent the people of Plateau South on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
