Former Barcelona and PSG star, Ronaldinho has been arrested in Paraguay for allegedly using an ‘altered’ passport to enter the South American country.
Ronaldinho was detained in the Resort Yacht & Golf Club Paraguayo along with his brother Roberto on Wednesday night, the Ministry of Interior of Paraguay confirmed.
Ronaldinho arrived in Paraguay earlier on Wednesday for a charity event, but ran into trouble with authorities after they discovered the doctored passports in his hotel room in the capital.
Authorities say the two men will not leave the country until they provide testimony in the form of a deposition.
